I've been intrigued by your story. I first read entry #35, and was so amazed I had to read ALL of it. It's an amazing story. You're so lucky to have a partner that stays with you. This isn't the anonymous that has been leaving nasty comments...just a passerby who can relate somewhat to what you're going through. I thought I was pregnant...and (I don't mean for this to sound wrong...) but thank God that I was not. I am in no way ready to handle a child...I want to finish college, enlist in the military, begin a career...I have so many things that I want to do before I have children. It's amazing...to think at 15, you're pregnant, and very ready at that. You wouldn't think someone at your age would be ready to become fully responsible for another human life. Through reading your diary...at times (more or less in the beginning of your diary), it seems like you aren't ready to take a step as big as this in your life. When you realized you were pregnant...it's as if you reality came and bit you in the ass...and you are ready for this child to enter the world. You are going to be an amazing mother, I can tell. You have a love for this child that will never die...it will only grow. I know that may seem corny...but it's the truth. You seem ready for this...and I know you will be a great mother. Doctors will not necessarily tell you everything you need to know, they will tell you everything you ask about, and if you have good raport with your doctor they will often tell you a lot more. However, they have only their westerm medical training, there is a lot more out there. Look into questions you would like to ask. The classes you have choosen sound really good. My roommates mother is a midwife and I'm an Anthropology major, I have done a lot of studies and heard a lot of talks on the suject of pregnancy, childbirth and childrearing. I seem to remember that when one of my teachers was pregnant a few years ago they said that flying after a certain part of your pregnancy can be dangerous to the baby. . . plus swimming leaves the possibility of infections. I don't see how that is possible...I mean...if you can take a HOT shower while being pregnant or you can take a HOT bath...why would it be any different for a hot tub? [MotherAlli]

i hope the counselor situation gets resolved. I remember my baby shower, it was soo much fun! At first I didnt want to know the sex of the baby. When i went to get an ultrasound my best friend found out what it was, and during my baby shower, she did everything in pink and everyone gave me things for a baby girl, so I was surprised. I think hot tubs are bad for the baby. I'm not for sure but that's what I was told and I've read it in other girls' diaries. Just thought I'd say something so you can make sure you don't hurt your baby. Take care. [Climbing Rose]
